Hepatitis B is a potentially life-threatening liver infection caused by the hepatitis B virus (HBV). It can be passed to others through direct contact with blood, unprotected sex, use of illegal drugs, unsterilized or contaminated needles, and from an infected woman to her new born during pregnancy or childbirth (3). Hepatitis B symptoms are Abdominal pain, Fever, joint pain, loss of appetite, Weakness fatigue, yellowing of skin and the whites of your eyes.
